Lady appears to try and scam way into home before scared away by dog This is the moment a woman appears to try to trick her way into a home by pretending she needs help in a suspected 'damsel in distress' scam. Footage captured by a Ring doorbell camera shows the woman approaching a home in Ilford, east London, at around 5am on Monday. In the CCTV footage the woman is seemingly feigning distress as she shouts 'I need help! Please help! Please help me!' before quietly saying to someone on her mobile phone 'Hold on, I'm just knocking on the door'.
